Introduction

UNC Asheville strives to keep its policies accurate and relevant. Prompted by the UNC Asheville Board of Trustees, University General Counsel Lucien "Skip" Capone III, beginning in 2010, took on the task of updating the entire policy process.

The memoranda above give a brief overview of the steps that have been taken thus far. In February 2011, the Policy on Policies was approved by Chancellor Ponder.

Where are we in the process?

The Policy Review Committee is currently in the process of updating and reviewing University and Divisional Policies.
